      The British Council for Volunteers, The charity was set up in 1959, and has a successful history of environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK and around the world. Has good info on collecting and growing trees from seed.and lots more.

       

      We are urgently in need of tree planting volunteers and can offer a 'WWOOF' style arrangement with free accomodation and food for volunteers.   We have to plant 4000 trees before March 15th, and perhaps you could put us on your 'links' page in case anyone is interested?   (there was no where to post volunteering opportunities)
